I figured it would be fun to take some time and develop a nice list of free traffic sources.
Let me know how they work out for you.
The first is posting on message boards and forums. Post legitimate content and actually get involved in the discussion - however, be sure to leave a link to your website in your signature.
That way, when people see your posts they’ll want to visit your site!
I recommend the following forum for this technique:

All you have to do is post about something. It can be anything. The content doesn’t even need to be yours! You just visit squidoo.com and you’re on your way to success.
Qassia is another site similar to Squidoo. You can post any sort of content. You are automatically provided with a high quality backlink in every article. You can earn Qassia $ for posting content, which is used to move your site up in ranking on the website, therefore letting other members see it.

These are just a few ideas, but they’re really handy! If you use all of them, you’ll be getting visitors in no time!
